Actress Ananya Panday celebrated International Women's Day in a meaningful way by visiting the Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT) NGO in Bandra, Mumbai. At CCDT, Panday reiterated her commitment to equal opportunities for all children, particularly girls, emphasizing the importance of realizing and working towards their dreams.

Expressing her thoughts on the visit, Panday shared, "The kids from CCDT are very close to my heart! I had visited CCDT before and thought why not do something special for the girls on women's day. Making these young girls realize and work towards their dreams, and watch their faces light up with excitement was so gratifying! It was an amazing experience! Thank you CCDT!"

CCDT, known for its dedication to advancing the national and state agenda of equal opportunities for all children and their families, focuses on safeguarding their rights to live with dignity. During the visit, a special activity titled #DreamsTakeFlight was organized, wherein 10 girls were supported. As part of this initiative, the girls were provided with "Dream Sheets" to fill out, allowing them to articulate their dreams and goals for the future.

The activity also included discussions on how these dreams could be transformed into reality. Ananya Panday, along with the girls' teachers, engaged with the participants, offering insights and encouragement. Notably, one girl expressed her aspiration to learn different languages to aid her pursuit of a career in business management, while another girl expressed her desire to acquire computer skills and explore various applications.

In a generous gesture towards realizing these dreams, a substantial donation of Rs. 16 lakhs was made, serving as a one-time investment in the girls' futures. This support reflects a tangible step towards empowering young girls to pursue their ambitions and overcome barriers.
