Tabu reveals key factors in choosing films; says, “Story, the relevance of my character in the story, and the director. Just these three things have to fall into place”

Tabu is on a winning streak as she prepares to release Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. In a recent interview, the gifted actress discussed her recent box-office triumph with films such as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Drishyam 2 and Crew.

During an interview with the entertainment blog PinkVilla, Tabu discussed the success of her previous films and shared insights into what she thinks while deciding on her next movie. She shared, “It’s great; it’s fantastic, and I can just feel gratitude for experiencing this kind of success. I just hope that it catapults me to do more interesting stuff.”

Tabu emphasised that while deciding to sign a film, she considers three crucial elements: the tale itself, the importance of her part within the narrative, and the director's vision. For her to commit to a project, all of these factors must be in perfect alignment. The actress emphasised that other aspects, such as the co-stars, are irrelevant in comparison to the fundamental components of the tale and her character's place in it. She stated, “Story, the relevance of my character in the story, and the director. Just these three things have to fall into place. Kaun hai aur film mein kya hai that’s not relevant to me at all.”

The highly awaited film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu as Krishna and Vasudha, respectively, with Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar portraying younger versions of these characters. The film also features Jimmy Shergill.

Friday Filmworks produced this romantic thriller, which is presented by NH Studioz. The film, directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Sangeeta Ahir, and Shital Bhatia, seems set to be a riveting cinematic experience.

The film's release date was originally set for July 5, 2024, however it was recently delayed. The filmmakers responded, “Dear friends, in response to requests from exhibitors and the distribution community, we have collectively agreed to postpone the release date of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Fans can now mark their calendars for August 2 when the movie will finally hit the silver screens.
