Excel Entertainment has dropped the much-anticipated trailer for Ground Zero, an intense action-drama inspired by one of the most celebrated BSF operations in the last five decades. The film stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead as BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, portraying a real-life hero whose two-year-long mission remains a landmark in the force's history.

The trailer takes audiences into the high-stakes world of border security where one officer risks everything to track down a faceless enemy. Emraan Hashmi’s portrayal of Commandant Dubey is both intense and grounded, shedding light on the personal and professional battles faced by those who protect the nation from the shadows.

In a proud moment for the entire team, the official handle of BSF India shared the trailer with a moving tribute to the real-life hero. The operation depicted in the film was officially recognized and awarded in 2015, cementing its place in BSF’s decorated history. With its stirring visuals and compelling narrative, Ground Zero promises to be more than just a film — it is a tribute to real heroes whose stories deserve to be told. Drawing comparisons to Excel’s earlier military success Lakshya, the production house appears poised to deliver another impactful war drama rooted in patriotism, courage, and sacrifice.

Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film also features a strong ensemble cast including Saie Tamhankar, Zoya Hussain, Mukesh Tiwari, Lalit Prabhakar, and Rahul Vohra. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, Ground Zero is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy. Ground Zero is expected to hit theatres later this year.
